Ivan Vassallo is a dynamic and results-driven leader based in Hal
Gharghur, Malta, with extensive experience in managing educational
programs and certifications in the healthcare sector. He holds a
warranted Nursing certificate, Master of Business Administration from
Henley Management College and a Master’s degree in Hospitaller
Studies from the University of Malta, along with a Bachelor of Arts
(Hons.) in Politics and Governance, which he is currently completing
and expects to submit by May 2025. He is in the process of submitting
his proposal for a PhD with the University of Malta.
As the Managing Director of a leading Medical Devices and Equipment firm in Malta, since April 2017, Ivan has exemplified a strong commitment to service quality and business development. Under his leadership, the organisation achieved ISO 13485:2016 certification, highlighting his dedication to operational excellence. Ivan has designed innovative training programs that prioritise empathy and effective caregiving, particularly in elderly care, addressing the specific needs of vulnerable populations.
A core strength of Ivan lies in his exceptional emotional intelligence, allowing him to forge strong connections with both students and colleagues. In his spare time, Ivan enjoys collecting Melitensia and painting historical miniatures, which he uses to create educational storytelling experiences.
